Since April there has been an ongoing exchange with Tesco with regards their incorrect map of Yorkshire. The map has been displayed in various Yorkshire stores including Clifton Moor, York.
Most Yorkshire folk looking at the above map will be aware that Tesco have deleted Middlesbrough, parts of Western Yorkshire and parts of Northern Yorkshire, including the summit of our beloved county, Mickle Fell.
Today Tesco stated: “We are trying to find a solution that is easy for us to implement, rather than us having to remove all the maps.”
Surely Tesco do not put profits ahead of the cultural heritage of Yorkshire?
