Yorkshire Sign For Humber Bridge

Although there are many road crossings into the North Riding and West Riding from neighbouring counties there is only one crossing from a neighbouring county into the East Riding. This is from Lincolnshire over the Humber Bridge, as such I believe a sign should be erected at this location.

Humber Bridge

I have asked Councillor Mole, Chairman of East Riding of Yorkshire Council (ERYC) for his support in principle for a Yorkshire sign to be erected north of the Humber Bridge. As an East Riding man I would welcome the opportunity to work closely with the ERYC so that this sign would be the first erected. This would of course be a wonderfully media opportunity to promote the East Riding.
