Pocklington Taxi Only Disgrace

As parking in Pocklington is always an issue why have East Riding of Yorkshire Council (ERYC) dedicated three parking places on Railway Street for taxis when there has been no taxi rank in Pocklington for an estimated 30 years?

Subject: Complaint – Pocklington Taxi Only Disgrace

Dear Sir/Madam,

Could I please refer you to https://andystrangeway.wordpress.com/2015/04/23/pocklington-taxi-only-disgrace/

I would like to register a complaint with ERYC for the waste of three parking places in Pocklington town centre for an estimated 30 years when there is no taxi rank.

I request that these parking places are made fully available for general parking by removing “TAXIS” and the yellow line at the earliest opportunity.

Kindest Regards,

Andy Strangeway

Subject: FOI Request – Pocklington Taxi Only Disgrace

Dear Sir/Madam,

Could I please refer you to https://andystrangeway.wordpress.com/2015/04/23/pocklington-taxi-only-disgrace/

Under the FOI Act could I request information with regards how many PCNs (Penalty Charge Notices/Parking Tickets) have been issued to none Taxis parking in the Taxi bays for each of the last six years.

In addition could I request to be informed how much has been raised for each of the last six years from these PCNs.

Kindest Regards,

Andy Strangeway
